The machine is built on a rigid mild steel chassis with SS 304 frames, welded and bolted to form a sturdy structural base. Various modular stations are mounted in a cantilevered (balcony) design, allowing easy access and operation.
All drive components and cabling are housed behind and within the machine for safety and organisation. The machine’s operations are powered by a centrally mounted spline shaft driven by the main motor, while two servo motors control the indexing and feeding systems.

The LI-PA240 AXE Blister Packing Machine is designed for continuous pharmaceutical packaging with integrated forming, feeding, sealing, and printing stations, while the punching station operates intermittently. The machine’s output depends on product characteristics, pack layout, and the type of feeding device.
The machine typically uses PVC film as the base and aluminium foil with heat-sealable VMCH coating as the lidding film. Optional accessories such as a batch code printer, inspection camera, and inline perforator can be mounted for enhanced functionality.
Blister cavities are formed on the PVC/PVDC film web using a vacuum forming process. The formed web moves along the web guide track, where products—such as tablets or capsules—are fed into individual cavities. The filled web then proceeds to the sealing station, where it is fused to the aluminium foil drawn from the reel-feed station.
Finally, the punching tool cuts the specified pack, which is transferred to the outfeed conveyor. The LI-PA240 AXE is suitable for various pharmaceutical products, and different product types can be accurately fed into the blister cavities at the feeding zone.
